Launched in the third quarter! More official pictures of Avatr 07 released

On May 27th, Avatr officially released its new medium-sized SUV - Avatr 07 more official pictures. It is understood that Avatr 07 is the third production car under Avatr Technology, positioning a medium-sized SUV, compared to Avatr 11 and Avatr 12, the new car will have two power forms: an extended range version and a pure electric version. It is expected to be priced in the range of $35,714-$50,000. At present, the MIIT has completed the declaration and will be listed in the third quarter at the soonest.

In terms of appearance, the recognizable front face design and the curved style of the body can be seen at a glance that it comes from Avatr. The Avatr 07 continues the family-style front face design and light group shape as a whole, equipped with a "C" type daytime running light belt, and the roof position is equipped with a lidar. At the same time, the raised rib lines of the front hatch also appropriately enhance the muscle feeling of this car, and the slightly shovel-shaped front lip increases the sense of vehicle movement. The official picture released this time is still an extended-range version of the model. The front surrounding interior is decorated with rhombus lines, and the bottom grille also retains the heat dissipation port of the engine. The position of the pure electric version is a closed trim arranged lengthwise.

On the side of the body, the Avatr 07 has the profile of a traditional SUV, with hidden door handles and slightly raised eyebrow lines at the front and rear, making it look more agile and fashionable, without the bulky feeling of a medium-sized SUV. At the same time, the addition of large-size dense-spoke rims also increases the sense of mobility of this car. In terms of size, the length, width, and height of the Avatr 07 are 4825/1980/1620mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2940mm, positioning the medium-sized SUV. At the rear, the Avatr 07 is equipped with slender taillights, and the license plate frame area and the vehicle tail mark are all painted black.

According to previous interior spy photos, the overall interior design of the  Avatr 07 is the same as that of the  Avatr 12. In addition to the conventional large-size floating central control screen, an integrated "hair tail screen" that traverses the main and auxiliary drivers is also provided behind the steering wheel, and there are very few physical buttons in the car. Matching the electronic rear view mirror outside the car, there is a rear-view display screen on each side of the main and auxiliary drivers in the car.

In terms of power, the   Avatr 07 has two power forms. Among them, the pure electric version provides two-wheel drive models and four-wheel drive models. The former is equipped with a maximum 252-kilowatt drive motor, and the latter is equipped with a dual motor with a front 188-kilowatt and a rear 252-kilowatt. The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 115 kilowatts. In terms of motors, the two-wheel drive version is equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 231 kilowatts and the four-wheel drive version is equipped with a dual motor with a front 131-kilowatt and

Avatr 07 is the third production car under  Avatr Technology. It will be equipped with Huawei's high-end intelligent driving system and Harmony OS Hongmeng cockpit and is equipped with a power battery that supports overcharging in Ningde Times. According to the Changan Automobile Annual Report,  Avatr Technology will also launch the Avatr 15 in 2024, when  Avatr will have four products on sale.

In the sales plan, Changan Automobile has given Avatr to achieve the sales target of 100,000 vehicles in 2023, but in fact, Avatr's annual cumulative sales volume is only 27,600 vehicles, only 27.6% of the sales target. After entering 2024, Avatr did not have too many surprises. The total sales volume in the first four months was 19,800 vehicles. According to Avatr's expected delivery target of 84,000 vehicles, only 23.6% have been completed so far.

Avatr Technology has also seen many changes in recent months. In terms of personnel, Zhu Huarong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Changan Automobile will concurrently serve as Chairman of Avatr; Wang Xiaofei, Vice President of Changan Automobile, will assist Zhu Huarong in Avatr's business operations, major project promotion, and key business operations; the former Avatr Senior Executive Vice President Chen Zhuo was promoted to president, fully responsible for the operation and management of Avatr; Tan Benhong no longer served as chairman and CEO of Avatr and was appointed deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Changan Automobile; many personnel adjustments also show Changan Automobile’s commitment to Avatr's importance.

In addition, according to media reports, Avatr will fully transform from a direct operation model to a dealer model. During the conversion period, employees can choose to stay or leave on their own, and Avatr officials will provide corresponding compensation measures. It is understood that Avatr has converted its direct-operated stores into dealer stores, leaving only a small number of directly-operated stores in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Among them, there are 5 directly-operated stores in Shanghai. The model change does not affect sales. The model prices and preferential measures in the converted dealer stores and direct-operated stores remain the same.
