Hongqi E009 production version spy photos

Recently, we obtained a set of test spy photos of the mass-production version of Hongqi E009 from relevant channels. This car is positioned as a medium-sized pure electric sedan, and the concept version has been unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show. The new vehicle will be designed and built based on the Hongqi pure electric platform HME and is expected to go into production in October 2025.

In terms of appearance, the Hongqi E009 mass-produced version adopts a closed front face. The shape of the headlight group is somewhat different from the concept version that was previously unveiled. It uses comb-shaped LED daytime running lights, and the headlight groups with lenses on both sides have a sharp overall shape. The new car has an air intake under the front, and the two sides have a guide groove design, which has a good sporty atmosphere.

From the side of the body, the new car is equipped with large-sized smoked black multi-spoke wheels and a hidden door handle design. From the rear, the new car still uses Y-shaped taillights, but the overall shape is softer and more restrained than the concept version. In addition, the rear of the car will adopt a small duck tail design, and the bottom will also have a shape similar to a sports car diffuser, further increasing the sense of sportiness.

In terms of power, the new car will use pure electric drive, and the specific power parameters have not yet been announced. However, according to previous news, the new car will be equipped with an M190-150kW silicon carbide reducer assembly, of which 150kW should correspond to the power level of the drive motor.
