On April 17th, we obtained the official images of the new medium and large SUV from Lynk & Co - the new Lynk & Co FREE model from the official Lynk & Co website. The new car has previously completed the application with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It will become the first model of the Tianyuan Intelligent Architecture, with a 2+2+2 seating layout inside. At the same time, according to the official introduction, the new car will be equipped with the Kunpeng L3 intelligent safety driving system and become one of the first models equipped with Huawei's L3 assisted driving system.

Although it is a facelift model, the new Lynk & Co FREE is built on the brand-new Tianyuan Intelligent Architecture and has also been upgraded in appearance. Specifically, the vehicle adopts a closed narrow-strip grille and adds luminous elements inside to improve recognition. At the same time, the vehicle is equipped with lidar on the roof, which, combined with the Kunpeng L3 intelligent safety driving system, improves the daily driving safety of the vehicle.

In terms of the rear, the vehicle uses a through-type taillight group, and the internal details have changed compared to the current model. In terms of size, its length, width and height are 4915/1960/1660mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2960mm, positioning it as a medium and large SUV.

In terms of power, according to the information disclosed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the vehicle continues to use a range extension system composed of a 1.5T range extender. The maximum power of its engine is 95 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the drive motor is 215 kilowatts. It is worth mentioning that according to the official statement, the new car will be the first to carry the Qingyun L3 intelligent safety driving platform. Many brand-new technologies on this platform, such as axial flux motors, distributed electric drives, steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, rear-wheel steering, fully active suspension, transient floating body and other leading technologies, will be installed on the vehicle.
