The new generation Audi Q5

On October 14, The 2024 Paris Motor Show officially kicked off, and at the Audi booth, the new generation of Audi Q5 officially met with the consumers. As a replacement model, it is built on the PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) platform and adopts the latest design style, which is more fashionable and durable. It is worth mentioning that the domestic version(the extension one, the new Audi Q5L) is expected to be in market in China in 2025.

In terms of appearance, as a replacement model, it has been innovated and upgraded in the design language of the existing family. The iconic polygonal large-size front grille is embellished with similar scale-style modeling, and the large light group with more aggressive style has outstanding visual effects. At the same time, the addition of the exaggerated three-stage air intake also increases the sporty feel of this car.

From the side of the body, the new car waist line runs through the body, the front and rear wing panels are slightly wider, and the concave wheel eyebrows are matched with the newly designed double five-spoke wheel rings, which has a strong sense of fashion. In the rear part of the car, the new car uses the current popular through-type taillight group, the second generation of OLED light source is used inside, and the ring silver decoration is used after the encircle to highlight the three-dimensional sense of the tail, and the bilateral exhaust layouts of the square mouth make the construction vivid.

In the interior part, the new car uses an OLED curved dual-screen design, which is composed of an 11.9-inch full LCD display and 14.5 inch MMI touch display. There is also a 10.9-inch entertainment screen in front of the passenger seat for passengers to watch. At the same time, the new car is also equipped with an interactive mode of atmosphere light group, which can make corresponding feedback on some functions of the car to enhance the sense of high-technology.

In addition, the new Audi Q5's vehicle system is Android Automotive OS, but the future domestic version of the model is expected to be localized. In terms of configuration, the new car will offer 15-watt wireless phone charging (with cooling system), 16-speaker Bang&Olufsen sound system (685-watt), active noise cancellation/reduction (VNC), adaptive driver assistance enhanced version, and rear seats support front and rear movement and backrest Angle adjustment, which can expand the trunk volume to 1,473 liters when the seat is folded.

In Power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 48V light-mix system with a maximum power of 200 kW, a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission  and a quattro four-wheel drive system. At the same time, the official also announced the power parameters of the new Audi SQ5, which is equipped with a 3.0T twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine, also equipped with a 48V light hybrid system, a maximum power of 270 kW, the transmission system matches 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and quattro four-wheel drive system.
