Recently, the official images of the 2025 Geely Galaxy E8 were released, with the new model set to hit the market on the evening of March 3. The upgraded version will feature a LiDAR system, along with optimizations in its exterior, interior, and powertrain. Additionally, the Geely Galaxy Xingyao 8 will also make its debut.
In terms of exterior design, the 2025 Geely Galaxy E8 continues the design of the current model, featuring a hidden grille and split-type headlights. The key update is the addition of a LiDAR system on the roof. On the side of the vehicle, new red brake calipers have been added. At the rear, the tail light design has been adjusted, with the previous chrome trim removed, and the tail lights are not of a full-width design.
For the interior, the centerpiece remains the integrated screen that spans the entire dashboard, a 45-inch 8K borderless display with an effective display area of 1130mm*138mm, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, and equipped with the "Galaxy Borderless Cockpit" in conjunction with the Meizu Flyme OS. The focus of this update is the lower section of the dashboard, where the central armrest area appears more flat and integrated.
Regarding the powertrain, the 2025 Geely Galaxy E8 will also see upgrades, though specific details are yet to be officially revealed. The pure electric range will be 575 kilometers and 700 kilometers respectively.
The Geely Galaxy Xingyao 8 adopts a new design language and comes standard with the Thor EM-P super hybrid system. Its overall design language is highly similar to the Galaxy E8, with body dimensions of 5018/1918/1480mm and a wheelbase of 2928mm. In terms of power, the vehicle is equipped with a 1.5T engine produced by Aurora Bay Technology Co., Ltd., model BHE15-BFZ, as part of the Thor EM-P super hybrid system, with a maximum engine power of 120 kilowatts. For the battery, the vehicle is equipped with an 18.4 kWh LFP battery pack, offering a pure electric range of 130 kilometers. Additionally, the vehicle will feature advanced intelligent driving functions and will come standard with the Galaxy Flyme Auto, enabling rapid integration, free connectivity, and easy sharing across mobile and vehicle terminals.
