Recently, Volvo officially released the latest teaser images of the EX60, revealing some details of the vehicle's rear. The new car is positioned as a mid-size SUV, built on the brand-new all-electric platform SPA3 EV, and is set to be launched in 2026. Furthermore, after the EX60 hits the market, the XC60 will continue to be sold.
Specifically, the new vehicle will feature vertical LED tail lights with a segmented upper and lower design, surrounded by black trim, giving it a distinctive and unconventional appearance. The lower part of the rear is equipped with black cladding, complemented by a silver horizontal chrome strip, showcasing a good sense of layering.
It is reported that the SPA3 platform used by this vehicle will employ the same software system and electrical architecture as the SPA2 platform, which Volvo refers to as the Superset technology stack. This offers greater compatibility, allowing it to be adapted to various sizes of models. Theoretically, the SPA3 platform can produce models smaller than the EX30 and larger than the EX90.
