China-made Electric MINI COOPER, ACEMAN JCW Set for Launch

Recently, we have learned from official sources that the all-electric MINI COOPER JCW and MINI ACEMAN JCW models have entered mass production at the Spotlight Automotive factory located in Zhangjiagang and are poised for their imminent launch in the Chinese market. Subsequently, these two models will also be supplied to the global market.

Both new vehicles will feature exclusive decal kits and a dual-section heat dissipation opening at the front bumper, highlighting a more dynamic and sporty character. In terms of body dimensions, the MINI COOPER JCW measures 3863mm in length, 1756mm in width, and 1458mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2526mm. The MINI ACEMAN JCW, on the other hand, measures 4094mm in length, 1754mm in width, and 1515mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2606mm.

Regarding powertrain, both models will be equipped with an electric motor delivering a maximum power of 259 horsepower and a peak torque of 350 Nm, adopting front-wheel drive with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.4 seconds. The vehicles are powered by a 54.2 kWh battery, offering a WLTP range of 355 kilometers. We will continue to follow up and report on more information about the new models.
