Recently, Ford officially released the official images of the Ranger Super Duty. The new vehicle is a pickup truck model, positioned as a high-performance version, with improvements in both off-road performance and load-carrying capacity.
In terms of appearance, the new vehicle is equipped with an off-road package. The front bumper has a larger inclination angle, which can provide a greater approach angle to enhance off-road capability. The front of the vehicle is equipped with a blacked-out honeycomb intake grille, and a snorkel can also be seen, significantly improving the wading ability. In other aspects, it remains basically the same as the regular version, featuring C-shaped headlights.
From the side of the vehicle, the new model is equipped with blacked-out wheels and 33-inch off-road tires. The chassis has been raised compared to the regular version, which helps to enhance off-road performance. The rear of the vehicle remains essentially the same as the regular version. Additionally, the suspension of the new vehicle has been upgraded, further improving its load-bearing capacity.
In terms of the interior, this release is for the Australian market, so it features a right-hand drive design. The interior layout remains consistent with the regular version, with a new SUPER DUTY emblem added on the left side. It is still equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel, a full LCD instrument panel, and a large-sized central control screen.
In terms of power, the new vehicle will be equipped with a 3.0T V6 diesel engine, with the maximum power expected to exceed 247 horsepower. The towing capacity has reached 9,921 pounds, approximately 4,500 kg, an increase compared to the regular version's 7,500 pounds. In addition, the new vehicle will also be equipped with a four-wheel drive system and front and rear axle differentials.
