For reference, the AITO M9 is priced between 469,800 and 569,800 yuan, while the Li L9 is priced between 409,800 and 439,800 yuan. It is expected that the price of the AITO M8 will be very close to that of the Li L9, creating direct competition.

The new vehicle is positioned as a pure electric mid-size sedan and will be sold through BYD's Dynasty network. According to previous information, the new car is built on the e-platform 3.0 Evo, and comes standard with the Tian Shen Zhi Yan C-Advanced Smart Driving Triple Camera Edition (DiPilot 100) across the entire lineup. It will also feature a rear-mounted motor rear-wheel drive system, with a range of 545 kilometers.
