Rear-wheel drive/Equipped with Tian Shen Zhi Yan C system across the entire lineup, the BYD Qin L EV is set to launch on March 12th.

Recently, we have learned from official sources that the BYD Qin L EV is scheduled to launch on March 12th. The new vehicle is positioned as a pure electric mid-size sedan and will be sold through BYD's Dynasty network. According to previous information, the new car is built on the e-platform 3.0 Evo, and comes standard with the Tian Shen Zhi Yan C-Advanced Smart Driving Triple Camera Edition (DiPilot 100) across the entire lineup. It will also feature a rear-mounted motor rear-wheel drive system, with a range of 545 kilometers.

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a brand-new family design, with a continuous front grille trim panel connected to the headlights on both sides to form an integrated shape. The front bumper of the new car features an outward-facing design, equipped with a trapezoidal heat dissipation opening and diagonally arranged vents, giving the overall shape a sporty attribute. Additionally, the Qin L EV also has a front trunk with a capacity of 65 liters.

From the side view of the body, the new car is equipped with semi-hidden door handles and 18-inch wheels. The rear of the car features a continuous tail light design, and the license plate frame area showcases the three-dimensional feel of the rear. In terms of body size, the new car measures 4720/1880/1495mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2820mm.

The Qin L EV is equipped with a triple front-view camera inside the front windshield, and multiple cameras and sensors are installed on the front of the car, front fenders, exterior rearview mirrors, and shark fin antenna. It will come standard with BYD's Tian Shen Zhi Yan C-Advanced Smart Driving Triple Camera Edition (DiPilot 100), which supports high-speed navigation (HNOA), intelligent parking, and other advanced smart driving functions.

For the interior, the new car is equipped with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 12-inch W-HUD head-up display, and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, paired with a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and an electronic gear lever. In addition, the new car will offer two color schemes: Moonlight Beige and Mysterious Space Gray. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with the Smart Cockpit Advanced Edition-DiLink 100, full-scenario intelligent voice, and 3D car light control functions.

In terms of power, according to previous information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Qin L EV offers two specifications of motors with maximum power of 110 kW and 160 kW, and adopts a rear-mounted rear-drive layout. It is paired with lithium iron phosphate battery packs with capacities of 46.08 kWh and 56.64 kWh, offering ranges of 470 kilometers and 545 kilometers, respectively.
