On June 12, the European Union Commission issued a preliminary ruling on the anti-subsidy investigation of electric vehicles in China, proposing to impose temporary countervailing duties on electric vehicles imported from China.

According to previous news, the car is internally code-named S32 and is expected to be produced on the Quantum Architecture Platform 3, and is expected to be officially launched in the second quarter of this year.

Previously, the vehicle was planned to debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, go on sale in May, and begin deliveries in June. It is anticipated that the entire timeline may be moved up. For reference, the AITO M9 is priced between 469,800 and 569,800 yuan, while the Li L9 is priced between 409,800 and 439,800 yuan. It is expected that the price of the AITO M8 will be very close to that of the Li L9, creating direct competition.
